The news: Walmart will host its Walmart Holiday Deals event from October 8-13. The retailer is kicking off the sale a day earlier than last year, and extending its length by two days.
Walmart is repeating its July Walmart Deals strategy by offering Walmart+ members exclusive early access to promotions starting at midnight—12 hours before the public sale (during the summer Walmart+ members gained access five hours ahead of other shoppers).
Unlike last year, when Walmart’s October event was online only, this year it is expanding the sale to its stores on October 9.
