The news: Google said that the importance of European news content to Google’s business in the region is vastly overestimated and that it has no impact on ad revenues.
- After an experiment in the EU that excluded news content from Search, News, and Discover for about 1% of users, Google said usage only dropped 0.8% and ad revenues didn’t change at all.
