Gen Zers in the UK still prefer High Street banks over digital newcomers

The news: Forty-five percent of UK Gen Zers plan to open a regular savings account within the next three months—more than any other generation, per new dentsu research.

Their preferences: And contrary to what we’ve learned about US-based Gen Zers’ preferences, those in the UK still prefer High Street banks. That’s because:

  • 32% of Gen Zers say they plan to use in-branch banking in 2025—the highest of any generation—which digital-only competitors can’t offer.
