Gen Z thinks pharma companies can make more of an effort to reach them

The data: Gen Z consumers across the globe are open to communicating more with pharma companies, according to a September 2024 survey from Burson. Some 5,000 Gen Z adults were polled in 10 countries, including the US.

Digging into the findings: Gen Zers think that pharma companies can more effectively engage with them.

  • 55% of Gen Z respondents think drugmakers can meet the needs of people in their age group, but just 43% believe that pharma companies care about Gen Z.
  • About half of Gen Zers (51%) believe that pharma brands and advertisers communicate well with them.
