Consumers desire more telehealth, but some health systems pull back their offerings

The trend: Consumer demand for telehealth remains strong, but many healthcare providers have reduced their virtual care offerings, according to a survey from the Deloitte Center for Health Solutions. Around 2,000 US consumers and 51 health system executives were polled in July 2024.

Patients like using telehealth: They’re engaging with doctors online at similar rates as recent prior years, and want to continue doing so.
