The game expansion, priced between $39.99 and $89.99 for the ultimate edition, offers new characters, maps, and in-game objects as part of an effort to keep players interested during a tough year for the gaming industry punctuated by layoffs and studio closures.
Launch hiccups: The update to 2023’s Diablo IV, which set records as the fastest-selling game of all time, is available on PCs through Blizzard’s Battle.net service, Valve’s Steam service, Sony’s PlayStation 4 and 5, and Microsoft’s Xbox One and Series X/S.
