Apple TV+, with little room left for growth, joins Prime Video

The news: Apple TV+ will soon arrive on Prime Video at the cost of $9.99 per month, the two companies announced.

Prime Video customers who pay for the add-on streaming service will have access to Apple TV+’s full catalog, including hit shows like “Severance” and “Ted Lasso,” in addition to Major League Soccer and Major League Baseball matches.

Piggybacking: Apple’s streaming service is going through a difficult period, with its strategy in disarray. After investing billions into the box office with lackluster results and failing to capitalize on the momentum of its more popular shows, Apple finds itself in the same boat as other second- and third-tier streamers, relying on larger platforms for distribution.
