Anthropic’s Claude 3.7 focuses on real-world AI use and affordable reasoning

The news: Anthropic launched Claude 3.7 Sonnet, which it calls the first hybrid reasoning and large language model (LLM) on the market.

  • Claude 3.7 lets users choose how intensively the AI should “think” by selecting whether to turn on its reasoning abilities, which will also increase response time.
  • Anthropic said the model is more optimized for businesses’ real-world tasks than math and computer science problems.
