AMD and MediaTek challenge Nvidia, Qualcomm with new AI hardware

AMD Instinct MI325X could be Nvidia Blackwell’s biggest competition

The news: A week after Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang said that demand for the upcoming Blackwell AI server hardware “was insane,” rival AMD announced its competing Instinct MI325X would begin production before year’s end.
