Amazon tests linking to external brands for products not available on its site

The news: Amazon has begun testing a feature that displays links to products not sold on its platform for mobile app users, placing them alongside its own listings.

How it works: Shoppers who tap “See More” will be redirected to the brand’s website to view pricing, delivery options, and complete their purchase. A notification will inform users that they are leaving Amazon before it redirects them.

  • For brands that offer Buy with Prime, Prime members will still receive fast, free delivery, easy returns, and 24/7 customer support—even when purchasing directly from the brand’s site.
