The news: Starting March 28, all Alexa requests made on Echo devices will be sent to Amazon’s servers.
- The company is removing Alexa’s “Do Not Send Voice Recordings” option and will leverage user data to improve the generative AI (genAI) features on its upcoming Alexa+ voice assistant, per an email to Echo users.
