Coronavirus cases are soaring, and with a potentially more contagious strain emerging around the world, the need for widespread vaccination is crucial. While an efficient, scaled rollout is becoming more urgent than ever, some US adults may not feel comfortable getting vaccinated at the locations the vaccine may be distributed.
According to a December 2020 McKinsey & Company survey, more US adults (52%) would feel comfortable getting the vaccine at their physician’s office, rather than at a hospital or a health clinic (41% and 31%, respectively). And only 11% would feel comfortable getting the vaccine at their place of employment—a common offering for the yearly flu vaccination.
